I am rapidly losing interest

<font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Today I was not even remotely optimistic about the game.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">I am not even too upset that we lost because the pattern has become all too predictable.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">I knew before the start of the game, as at morning after Cardiff, that we lack a number of decent players that allow us to turn nearly won but lost into won.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">The most annoying aspect to the current situation is that the teams I have seen at Oakwell this season are not that much better than us based upon 11 players. Our lack of any remotely capable player outside the first eleven is costing us dearly.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Its now time Mr Shepherd et al to show some managerial courage to either:-</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Admit that we have made a grave error in not strengthening in the close season and its time to go out and get the players we sorely need  to give us a good chance of survival..</font></p>

<font face="Arial">or</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Admit that he will be content if we start next season in the pub league as long as we are debt free by the end of next year.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">At least we would know where we stood.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Oh and inane ramblings on the rear of the comical do not endear you to anyone.</font></p>

excellent post,like you say if we have no intention of signing quality players and will happily accept relegation to be debt free then as true fans we should be told so, rather than all the pipped at the post,not better than what we already have crap

Our first team is easily good enough to compete in the championship. However, our strikers are failing and we have no replacements. Devaney is in a bad spell - no replacement. And if Heckingbottom plays badly (which he often does) we can all turn to Robbie?

 

Agree. Why shell out for away games when we all know the outcome?

Finding it hard to justify my time, energy and money travelling to every away game as I have done for endless years now when I have a new baby I could channel my energy into. Never thought I'd feel that.
