I am terrified that my worst nightmare could come true and Donny replace us in the playoffs!

 I have to say that I am absolutely terrified that they are going to 'blow' it through a combination of poor tactics, poor atmosphere at home (some players are already answering back to the crowd) and general lack of consistency and burn out.</p>

I'll support them through thick and thin, those who know me, know this, but today, after last night's results, I am absolutely terrified.</p>

Donny (and the teams below us) have to go on a run that gets them over 2 points per game on average to overcome us. They may win 2 or 3 on the bounce, but so far this season none of them has shown the concistency required. We need to maintain form.

 

Tina, you are exhibiting classic signs of manic depression, get to a therapist. I recommend someone using the Human Givens techniques.

Top 6 now will be top 6 at the end of the season.

 

Their next 2 games are:

Gillingham (at Home) and Hartlepool (A), both very winnable. Living in Doncaster and being surrounded by Donny fans, I had to leave the country to avoid the last game. Worst case scenario: emmigrate.

Aaah, thanks for comforting words, but I'm terrified.</p>

Can't make Saturday's game at Tranmere as I have to attend a special meal celebration on Sat.I'll be living, breathing and dying every kick. </p>

I would have agreed with you no longer than 6 weeks ago. Donny were indeed right in the preverbial ****, but we are now a different side with some size and experience in the right possitions now. We are now well capable for playoff`s with the squad we have. Also on the plus side we have our long term injuries nearly all back in training. Loads of competition for places. I`m not saying look over your shoulders, because Barnsley have shown great consistency this year and credit to you. But we will be there about`s at the end of the season.

They'll all be difficult from now on. Tranmere are a decent side then we've Colchester and most of the top 4/5 teams to come to Oakwell.</p>



We just can't afford many performances like at your gaff or at Port Vale. I still think we need to be stronger both mentally and physically, but we'll see. Ritchie has obvious faith in his players, I just hope they respond in kind.</p>

Barnsley have a good squad, good manager, a great chairman with good directors. Your oustanding debt is coming down at a rate of notts, all down to Mr shephard.

Simple that if we had have finally put in a decent performace against you and come away with a point (rather than the constant hammerings we have had the last few meetings), you would have seen a different side to a few people on here. and that probably includes me.

But one thing, a few others need a right good kickin in if they fail to realise the great position we are in. I am sure donny would swap places wouldn't they?

I don`t come onto your site and cause trouble just to discuss matters, but IMHO Barnsley should get past what has happened with Donny as a club and supporters as a whole in the past and bury it! Move on, Paul Hart, the nastiness and what has happened is all history.
Barnsley have a great opportunity for possible promotion. But i will ask you a question.

Do you honestly think as a club and supporters that you are ready? I know Donny are deffinately not.
