Due to our chronic lack of goals...

Response was: "We have a number of strikers at the club who can score goals so no."

If I signed em up for BBS FC they might get one every now and again aye.

    Then again.

think Brian Howard has scored more than the strikers put together...

KO has scored 2 all season.....

Did he tell you which strikers they were ?

Are they in the Academy side, because they have not played in the first team this season!

    Way more mate...

    Howard 12 + 1 cup = 13

    Odejayi 1 + 1 cup = 2
    Ferenczi 3 + 1 cup = 4
    Christensen 1
    Coulson - 1 cup
    Nardiello - 1
    Macken - 5
    Mostto - 1

So Howard 12 in the league, 7 strikers between them 12.

Oh well, at least they're beating him in the Cup.

    Chortle.

Yes takes penalties, but would ANY of our strikers score them?

    Hmmm.

Maybe they can score goals, but choose not to?

In all fairness it's not JUST their fault...

They don't get enough chances considering the creative talent we have, but they need to take some responsibility for making some themselves.

    Bring back Miguel and Kim

The two most unused strikers in BFC history, cost well over £500k between them and started less than 10 games. Daveys attitude and treatment of them both stinks.

I think Mostto would have benefitted from playing alongside Macken...

    But what do I know.

    Knacker all.

I reckon both Miguel and Kim could have scored more goals than the other 4 if they had been given a sniff of a chance.

Maybe Simon's admitted he was wrong about him

    Then again probably not.

I'm still awaiting the first time he admits making an error of judgement.

I'll be grey before that day arrives.

Christensen seemed to have something about him, but NEVER started a game

Now if he's got a bad attitude, well fair enough, but you need to sit someone like that down and sort them out.

I don't think dropping them forever is the answer.

    But again, I know nowt.

RE: Bring back Miguel and Kim

Judge both strikers by their ability/form/fitness - and not on Davey's treatment of them.

Mossto - other than Dave Regis - looks like the mots ineffcTive player I have seen in knocking on 40 years of watching Barnsley. Christenson granted, deserves at least a spot on the bench.

Traveled half way around the world to play 2nd fiddle to a league two striker, when he got a chance he was paired up with a league two striker. Any player changing continents like he did is going to struggle, what do we do- demand an instant return or he is **** never mind the fact that the blokes got a good pedigree against teams better than us.</p>

We gave him about 8 games scattered over 5 months, how is he supposed to do anything in that time.

    Rubbish.

Judge what you have seen , not his so called pedigree. For all we know Peruvian top league fooball may well be on a par with our Div 2. What's he done since he want back? Exactly!!
