Oooo gerry gerry! Had some great times watching him. Can always remember at leeds when he stuck one of the leeds players (cant remember which was - was only about 12) in the wall bottom. It was the season they went up and we did the double over em i think.

I never remeber Gerry playing for us, think i was about 6 when he left, but he was still a top player afterwards, players like him we miss.

Legend. My favourite ever Barnsley player. Had his name on my back whilst he was here.

    Quality player...

Hard as nails, great in the air, and good on the deck too. Just an absolute rock. Him and Carl Tiler in at CBs. Superb.

Top player and good lad as well. Remember having a beer with him in whispers and thinking he was a top bloke.

Gerry and Brendan O'Connell always used to be in the Hospital Club when I was glass collecting as a youngster. They were both top fellas but Gerry was a superstar. Carl Tiler was also immense. Didnt the money from Tiler and Agnew (another quality player) pay for the East Stand to be built?
