    The BBC (Radio Sheffield) knew that the Morgan / Hume incident was likely to go to court and yet they said this;

    "Chris Morgan is not malicous"

    "there was no intent by Chris Morgan"

    "I know Chris Morgan and he wouldn't do this intentionally"

    "no way does Chris Morgan need taking to court"

    These comments were made by a BBC presenter after Barnsley Football Club announced that they were looking at legal action in relation to the Morgan / Hume incident

    As much as I understand your feelings mate, Radio Sheffield made these comments whist BFC were CONSIDERING legaL action but were awaiting first, the decIsion from the FA. Key word here is considering. Not got a leg to stand on sadly.

    Doddy doddy doddy............I was on my own with this one a week or so ago

    ...........I do now think people on here are getting a grip of what I've been banging on about

    And its this........The BBC cannot judge either way when they know there is likely to be a court case

    I think this is important for the rule of law within the country

    'Considering'...........lets look at that

    During most matches there are bad tackles...........the BBC sports presenters can make comments on those tackles

    However, when there is an incident that leaves a player in hospital and a football club flags up the notion that they are 'considering' taking this incident to court or taking legal action, then surely it is the responsibility of the BBC presenters NOT to make judgement on that incident in case they influence the outcome. The BBC really acting in a precautionary way just incase it goes to court.

    In this case they didn't, they came down firmly in the direction of Chris Morgan, and if you dont beleive me listen to Football Heaven from the 10th November, the same day Barnsley FC made their announcement.

    You don't have to convince what Rad Sheff said. I agree 100% and heard the same comments myself. All I'm saying - and don't get me wrong, I'm no legal expert here - that whilst ever Barnsley were 'considering' rather than actually 'taking' legal action, Radio Sheffield -legally speaking - have not incriminated themselves.

    What pisses me off is that the media keep saying Barnsley have failed in their attempt to get Morgan's yellow card overturned to a Red. That's ******, Barnsley wanted the FA not only to overturn the decision but to make Morgan accountable for it by banning him from the game permanently - or at least for a long, long time.

    Yes i know that but, and im not sticking up for Radio Sheffield, and i agree that Giddings is a ******, but they have to be unbiased through this. They have said that Morgan should have been sent off and deserved a ban straight away. Even Giddings said that himself last night near the end of the show
