I can remember when we had chat rooms on here

would it be hard to bring them back? Then all the ones who wanted to have a ding dong could go there and have it out. Leaving the main board a calmer place. Just a thought.

Chat rooms eh, you after doing a little grooming? Seriously though, I would miss the range of topics on view from the main board. Having said that, if it it makes this board a more pleasant place to be for others then why not.

I think one of the biggest issues/faults with the BBS is that it has left its original simple layout and tried it become a copy of all the others out there. The result of that is that t has lost a lot of its audience to the others. I would say twitter is the most popular medium these days and look how simple that is. Add to that have w painfully slow the BBS is to load most of the time and you have two reasons why a lot of people gave up with it

My plan to resurrect the BBS would be to strip it back to a really simple threaded view message board. No frills, no messing about. Add on a chatroom and bobs your uncle. Oh and get the absolute best server that the members of the BBS can afford.

 

I do miss Radders chat rooms. Ah simpler times.
