The problems lie with a) the diet (burgers) of the young and their habits (play stations etc) b) the Premier League, which might be the best in the world, but is a showground for foreign players who make Lampards, Gerrards look half decent players c) Immoral salaries paid to players who think they are great players. this is encouraged by foreign Managers and Owners who have no interest in the England team It makes not one jot who is appointed after McClaren, the simple fact is until there is a total change in the eating/playing habits of the young, England will never produce a team capable of achieving anything.
Nost to do with eating habits, there are still plenty of fit kids about!! It's more to do with the setup of English football and how we play and coach the game.
