    The only contentious point is

    "proven championship players".

Like Odejayi, Coulson, El Haimour, Mossto etc.

Other than that, he's a top man.

Doubt they are the big earners though..

it sounds like he was wanting the money of Moore, Kozluk, JCR, Macken.......

    Agree

Seems that the reason the lad wanted to leave Chesterfield was because he wasnt being paid as much as the highest earners. If he tries that at every club he talks to he wont get a new club unless he stays in the bottom tier. He certainly wont get parity at Sheff Utd or Derby. Cant see them matching Hulse and Beattys wages myself.

They haven't signed new deals with us have they?

Sounds like all 'unproven' are given incentivised deals which in turn get renegotiated ala Devaney, JCR, Foster etc.

Sounds like a good policy to me.

    "We'll strengthen in another way"

ie back to the loan market. I suspect we've realised that signing people on a permanent deal whilst a valid and understandable objective, isnt as easy and commercially viable as it sounds.
