tactics this, crap performance that...
We lost today....so! Half the season gone, and were 5th in the league, playing, at times, the best football we've seen at Oakwell since Danny Wilson left. So if the 2nd half of the season mirrors the first half, and we do indeed finish 5th, how many of you, at the start of the season can honestly say you expected more? I know i didn't.
So, the best overall football you've seen in years results in....jeers. Some 'fans' amaze me. Mind you, i suppose you'll either continue to slate the team and the manager, or you'll get behind this push for promotion. Yes, PROMOTION!!!! I know i'll be doing the latter.
Congratulations to all at BFC, except Rob Knowles , on a fantastic first half of the season!
I'll leave you all to argue over the rest. See you all Monday!

Agree Lee I can't be doing with people getting all negative just cause we've lost an away game by 1 goal. FFS that's what happens in football, you lose away games by a goal quite a bit. Sounds to me that we did battle, particularly in the first half, but weren't playing it around - a long trip to the south-west (I presume by coach), extra time on Tuesday in a high tempo game, many players having been hit by a virus - it's all taken it's toll. Well they've now got over a week to put all that behind them and hopefully stay off the Christms pudding and lets see them back to winning ways on Boxing Day.
I agree.... I wouldnt go as far as saying were playing some of our best football at oakwell since Danny Wilson. As a season ticket holder and attending all three cup matches at home we've had alot of nightmaire displays. If the second half of the seasons as good as the first we'll be right up there. We can play alot better than some of the performances we've dished out at home this season aswell. We've also most of the promotion pushing sides still to play at home, Huddesfield, Swansea, Southend, Colchester, Chesterfield. If we Nail all these with a decent away record we've a right chance this season.
