I can't remember in my 20 odd years...

Following barnsley there being so much of a feel good factor and connection between the fans and the club...

The players and management staff really seem to have taken to us fans as much as we have to them and it's brilliant being a Barnsley fan right now.

People keep stopping me in selby congratulating me on how we're doing and I'm so proud at the moment that my club are performing how they are and win or lose at Wembley I'm positive about the future of the club for the first time in a long time.

Who would have thought stood soaking wet watching the performance at Altrincham we would be where we are right now?

Big congratulations to Mr Cryne for giving Hecky the reigns and trusting a local lad to take over with little experience and how Hecky has rewarded the club is beyond anyone's wildest dreams I'm sure after the start we had.

Also Danny Wilson who I believe brought in Winnall hourihane Davies and Scowen who have been instrumental in this squad getting to where it is can't be forgotten nor can the additions of Mawson Williams Watkins Roberts Hammill and the loan players brought in by Johnson.

We had a plan when we came down to cut spending and wages by bringing in young talented players and it's paying dividends now under Hecky and Wright.

One last hurdle and we will be back to the championship with a young hungry squad and who knows where we can go......
