..... lots of things. For example, why people are racist, why water flows down a plughole one way in the southern hemisphere and the other way in the northern and why it's so difficult to get a boiled egg spot on!! I also don't understand why there is a pro-Hamill lobby with some people on here. It was good business getting rid of him, he wasnt good enough for us and wasnt good enough for a struggling Premier League team. His only skill was the step-over and teams slowly worked him out. I dont want him back unless of course I dont understand something...
Yes its nice to have brass in pocket but I think this thread is now defunct as the Hamill comments werent picked up...
There is a small effect caused by the rotation of the earth which is opposite in the northern to the southern hemisphere, but it's negligible. You'd need the water to be pretty much completely still before you pull the plug out. What with thermal currents and vibrations that's almost impossible but if you could, then it would flow around the plug hole in one direction in the northern hemisphere and the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere. In fact, storm systems rotate anticlockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere for the same reason.
I especially liked him he was one of those players that got you off yer seat when he got the ball out wide.
In the Ponty we get off our seats every time there's a corner from the right, which is annoying, cos we never score from a corner from the right.
