due to the **** we've had to put up with in the second halves of the last two seasons, coupled with the simple fact of money..... couldn't afford over 300 quid plus petrol for a 100 mile round trip each time. HOWEVER, I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING THERE TODAY. And do you know, or care, why....... I can afford £12.50 And if it was that every game I'd pay it, plus the petrol. Am I alone in this?
I'm in a similar boat but if the prices were £12.50 every week we would have no Barnsley Football Club!
Exactly. Gave up a season ticket due in part to cost but will pay almost the same amount on the gate every week. The problem is that the club would need the ground to be almost full every week to make this kind of discount financially viable. I would rather see a full ground every week but I just can't see it happening, not without premier league football.
