At this forum (and social media in general)

People ranting yet again, "boring" "**** poor" "disgusting" "waste of time"

When Wilsons reign was coming to an end social media and this board was full of similar comment and people waffling on about its time to go and we need a fresh approach

Wilson was removed and uproar ensued! How could the club do this!? No stability! Knee jerk reaction again!

Then followed weeks of we need a fresh look build from youth and give the new gaffer time to mould a team

Fast forward to today FOUR games into the new season (5 if you include cup), brand new team full of young hungry players and the sane people who berated the club and demanded that a new Ms her is to be then time are once again slating everything BFC related, it really is tedious!

How can you cover th club to stick by a vision/manager if the same 'fans' that demanded stability are actually shouting from the rooftops how carp and boring we are!!

We're unbeaten in four out of five have an average age of 11 to me this is promising! Do people really expect is to win every game Barcelona esc

I'm going to shut up now and no doubt be **** down and told to shut up but Christ guys come on if we can't give these lads the time to settle and enjoy themselves how can we expect the club to do the same (when as people constantly point out "we pay our money we demand X Y and Z)

I just want to go watch decent football and hey you know have a shot on target say once every home game. Is that too much to ask?

 

Just folk giving of their opinion, personally I would like to see more end product than we are getting, cos whilst keep ball can look good it doesn`t win games unless it produces chances. The more chances created the better the percentage for popping em into the net.

 

So there were no shots on target??

 

But the fact of the matter is today absolute Carp!

Its an entertainment sport when all said and done.

Would have had more excitement fishing for an old Mattress down in the Dearne at Hoyle Mill

 

People will always have differing opinions game by game most of them simply posting their views on the match. commenting on and tactics and team select is par for the course. I don't see much doom mongering on here, just the occasional OTT post.

 

We had 2 didn't we? Making it 4 in 2 home games (including a penalty). Though to be fair I was struggling to stay awake so might have missed us peppering the goal with shots...

 

You think it was better last season?

 

Well we beat Bradford 3-1 last season so yeah.

Overall there has been no change either positive or negative from changing the manager.

that you refer to play all these silly stupid computer football management games... they get 'cheat codes' which allows them infinite money and there for sign Messi etc... they then go to Oakwell and expect the same as they get on their PS3 X box etc reality is not an issue... they can do it on their silly little machine so why cannot LJ do it in real life... its sadly that simple.

 

I think there are a few criticisms of the couple of poor performances. It's what fans do. However I'm happy with the points tally, just want to have more Millwall performances. We will improve I'm sure.

It's not just aimed at people on here, Twitter and the odd Facebook account as well, I think my point was we demanded the club has patience yet a lathe swath of the fans who demanded said patience seem to be lacking it themselves imo mind

It would be nice though once in s while in s gave we haven't lost to read about the positives not the negatives as they say Rome wasn't built in a day

And I can absolutely guarantee if we played 10 games of fluid passing beautiful football that made a mockery of the opposition and lost all 10 1-0 there would be uproar about p1ssing around and tippy tappy football

If you think about it no matter what the club can't win

Poor performance against a very average side. Boring, uninspiring, negative and tepid. That shower we saw today and last week against Burton isn't going to bring in many pay on the day customers. I hope i'm proved wrong but i'm yet to take to Johnson. One up front at home is extremely negative. He had the chance to change the match today and instead of sticking Wilkinson alongside Winnall he instead had one replace the other. We've been very lucky to pick up four home points so far. It would be really nice to see a couple of decent on target attempts at home games. You'd think we were playing Barcelona and not a struggling side there for the taking. Instead Bradford had the three best chances and all we really had to work the keeper was an injury time late attempt.

 

Agree fella, one up front at home against a shocking side who were there for the taking is so negative!!!The Oldham fans did warn us he likes to play one up front so I guess we'd beet get use to it!!

 

I get your point, I get all your points I was just eluding to the fact that after recent seasons and regimes we as fans demanded stability and continuity, we asked for time to be given to build a squad.

And my point is after 5 games people are already moaning, who knows given 10-15 games the lads might have clicked and be playing really nice football but if we don't give them the opportunity the hell before jumping on their backs it won't ever happen

I'll say it again I understand people demanding 'entertainment' but this is barnsley this is league 1 this is realty of lower league football.
