I can only ask if the view was any better for those in the East Stand lower or did moving the boards back make the situation worse, especially for those in the first few rows? I've seen a photo of the Ponty end with the old wall and the new boards towering over it. People are sitting further back, could they still see over the boards? Surely this defeats the object and spoils the "matchday experience" still further. Are we now talking about a reduced ground capacity and restricted viewing when it comes to selling seats?
I have to stand to see the edge of the pitch and I'm 6 rows back. They're too big imo. Shame we can't make the scoreboard any bigger!
I sit in the East Stand lower and on Saturday I couldn't see the touch line (not that it really bothered me) last night I could so for me problem solved.
Row J. It was fine for me. Now that they are up to the wall, they don't actually look much bigger than the wall itself. Maybe a couple of inches? It's very deceiving because looking over at the Ponty, they seemed to tower over the wall and I'd imagine the first rows of the Ponty struggle to see anything.
