I was in Scarborough today for the first scooter rally of the season and enjoyed it very much.

Onto football, who were the players that er, how do i put this kindly? *****? I heard Winnall and Scowen gave there all but not much else. Hope im not going to waste time and money driving down to Colchester to witness something similar.

    Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Edit: What was the formation? I suppose we did need a change to 4-5-1 and the formation played didnt seem to work?

No one didn't look like they weren't trying but the quality of performance was poor. Not sure where you got the tip off about Winnall's performance from but fo,r me he was poor. He was only noticeable for his constant whingeing to the referee after he was far too easily pushed off the ball.

What we lacked was anyone to run at them with the ball. The only one with any success on that front was John who others on here have already criticised??

    Thanks for the feedback

I got that Winnall was one of the better players from Twitter. It doesnt surprise me that we had no one run at them directly with no wingers in the team, well fit wingers or ones that have played for a year straight not a year off injured. Seems like a sell Dale or give him till pre-season to have a performance and bring in some quality wingers. Lets see what we're like with players signed by Johnson before criticizing?

Yep, if we get a couple of quality wingers in permenantly we will be a force. Unlike this year we only need to add a sprinkling of quality to the squad to be one of the best in division.

Would let jennings go and bring in two. Think o'sullivan and williams may be out of range. But if we got both of them we would be some force. Playing 4-5-1 with Scowen, Horihane and Bailey (as don't think we'll get pearson back).

Winnall was very poor today IMO.

The only good player was Scowen who covered everything blade. Pearson was bad either. Everyone else though was off there game. Especially Winnall, Hourihane, Stewart and John.

Think we should move Dale on he's had more than enough chances. Stole a wage this season.

I dont think Williams would be too far to get, that injury could have put him further down the pecking order at Fulham, esspecially with the season they've had, they'll spend big again, i'd definitely go for him.
