But I could tell that Hassle was ****, and way too slow.

The voices in my head know everything.

    Me neither

He must have been poor though not a single message on my cell phone saying how well he had played.

    Hassells nearly alway ****.

He has so many weaknesses for a defender at this level.

That's why Foster is our usual right back with Hassell left back in't dressing room or on't bench.

He wasn't that good. Shocking performance from Bobby. Togwell can do a better job than him in that role.

    Davey picks him.

You know? The tactical genius that can do no wrong?

    He's a decent squad player

and was one of our best performers last season. He was also outstanding at Anfield.

I agree Foster is a better player, but there's absolutely no reason to have a pop at Hassel IMO. Again I'll stress, if he struggles in midfield, it's the fault of the bloke that picked him there.

I am disappointed that Davey thinks Hassell can do a job in front of the defence.

Togwell is the better option in my opinion. He's more mobile than Hassell but isn't much better in the technical department.

RE: He's a decent squad player

He was only good at Anfield when Liverpool took Babel off who had constantly given him the run around.

Yh, I agree. They can both put a tackle in, and neither can pass. But Togwell does get up and down. Hassell just sits in front of back 4. We lose a midfielder going forward. Got to be Toggers on Saturday if Da Silva is out.

Just give the lad some credit

it won't hurt you. Babel is different league, Kewell isn't half bad player, and he helped the centre halfs out well with Kuyts and Crouch. He even took a belter in the B*ll*cks for his team and got straight back up. Some respect please!

I did go. Is it ok if I slate him now? And to be fair I hardly slated him. I pointed out why he should not play in midfield. Lets hope SD can see it. If you look on another thread I have put Bobby in at RB for saturdays game. But he is not a CM.

ok ,we`ve established bobby h is no cntral midfielder but tonight he did a half decent holding midfielder role, besides that devaney should be the one youre criticising he had a stinker-
    could not retain possesion
    would not track back
    didnt chase any lost causes
could count on one hand the runs he had or the tackles he made, was totally ineffective

But the thread wasn't about Devaney. But you are right, he had a stinker too.
