But by all accounts we were rubbish at Coventry, devoid of initiative etc etc... I must admit I am peed off for the fans that made the trip and felt that they had no 'support' from the team. If the fans that were there were so blatantly fed up then Hill should have done the decent thing, at least, and said 'sorry, we let you down today'. I didnt hear the post-match interview but by all accounts he failed to do this. To this extent I can certainly sympathise with the people who knock the manager because he sometimes does himself no favours at all with his comments on radio... However, I say it again, in the longer term Hill will do the club justice. He is a better 'manager' than Davey and Robins for a variety of reasons which I have already tried to expound in previous posts... I agree with previous anti-Hill posters that it is crap to lose games and we do not want to have to wait for re-building of the squad etc but what alternative do we have but to build for the future? We cant dwell on the Premier League past and we have a weak fan base now (not Hill's fault) so with what we have we need a manager who can manage that and build the team up for the future. All of the people on here who slag the team and management off now because some performances are crap now have no patience genes. It's ok to say that because BFC played crap today then they are crap perpetually but thats not the case. We have all seen some very good performances this season and when Hill can field a settled side that is not plagued by injuries or players that have been nicked by other clubs (Vaz Te, Butterfield, Drinkwater, Perkins) we will do well... No doubt I'll be slagged off for wearing rose-tinted specs again but I do believe the football, overall, is much more entertaining than under Davey and Robins. I do believe that Hill is doing a good job in difficult circumstances
