    It's easy to see why people from other places have ...

    ...... that perception of us, and articles like that don't help (even though it's up to him/her how he/she lives his/her life) ....... still proud to be from tarn though mate and we have no more weirdos than anywhere else really

    It's not exclusive to Barnsley

    I don't read such an article and think that's indicative of whatever area they are in, and anyway, as you say, it's up to them how they live their life, they aren't affecting anyone else (well apart from when he gets chatted up by a bloke I guess!)

    Did you click on the "read more" link - they met in Chicago Rock, and she is originally from Chicago….I bet that was a let down for her when she went in there!
