    That wouldn't prefer that Alex wasn't turning out for us tonight.

    I *also* believe that Val was a genius but not the messiah.

    I am a total fan fan boy for stats and that our owners are building a network that, inside a year, we are the spearhead of.

    Sorry all, this is not what "fans" believe in - but we are an adventure and I am optimistic.

    Take the p*ss if I am wrong - but we've cracked the enigma and we're going places

    If you can't be optimistic at the start of a season when can you! I'm feeling good for this season, really looking forward to seeing Helik, Brittain and Mirris in the flesh.

    Alex took well over 12 months before he did anything for us and he benefited massively from Stendel and Val believing in him, maybe Benson or Kane can do the same given the time.

    Valerie is amazing.

    He earned the right to leave when he wanted, after the astonishing job he did. Unlike the squeaky dwarf, who keeps failing upwards, he actually achieved something with us before he left. Unlike Keef, he didn't slander the club, the fans, the world.

    He may succeed at West Brom, or he may fail. I'm not really bothered, because they're not my club. But he did a better job here than anyone since Bassett - arguably better, given the disparity in resources between us and pretty much the rest of the division.

    He's gone, but I can't bad-mouth him. I don't care that the football wasn't pretty. All I am bothered about is winning, and he had rather a nice habit of doing just that.

    Schopp has got very big shoes to fill.

    Re Mowatt. As much as I liked him. I’m more looking forward to seeing Styles in the middle. And the glimpse I got of Benson encourages me.

    I’m inclined to agree, but I expect we’ll still miss him. Just look at how bad/mediocre the likes of Ritzmaier and Kane have been.

    Why are folk so encapsulated by what goes on with Val & AM??? They’re no longer with us. That’s football’s ever revolving door,it’s just a job to those in the game. Let’s concentrate and focus on who’s at the club, not who was at the club.
