I don't get this with Charles Kennedy

    He's already announced he will face a leadership contest but that's no good for some MPs who want him to stand down entirely and not put himself back up for re-election. They obviously haven't the balls to take him on!

    That thought struck me too. There all calling for his head yet no-one seems prepared to take over his job. Whats the man to do?

    They may want the job but don't want the stigma of kicking a man when he's down. Shrewd move individually by Kennedy if he wants it that badly but a complete disaster for the party. Win or lose, I'm sure one day he'll look back on it and realise he messed up the Lib Dems at a crucial time.
