Re: I don't know why but I'm almost more gutted by the poor start to the season than I was about los just offering a little bit of hope, remember wednesday's start to the season last year, exceptionally poor. yet they ended up with an outside chance of getting in the playoffs! however, perhaps it does go to show that the poor pre-season, the defeats, lack of cohesion etc does have an effect on confidence!!!!
Re: I don't know why but I'm almost more gutted by the poor start to the season than I was about los Wednesday could have gone down on the last day last year????????
you are thinking about the season before for Wednesday mate they were nearthe bottom but went on a good run towards end of sesson
They were below us all season until the last match ! They never got near the top 8 in the last half of the season anyway, I am certain of that.
Re: I don't know why but I'm almost more gutted by the poor start to the season than I was about los yes the season before last, the fundamental point however is that things change pretty quickly if a team can go on a run, 3 points for a win and all that. i appreciate all you learned people pointing out that i should have said the season before last, but thats irrelevant to the argument (or rather the fact that many many teams end up challenging after abysmal starts to the season) put forward.
This bad start is nowhere near is bad as losing the cup semi that was the second worst day ever (after going into admin in October 02 the day before the Brentford game)
