Okay, so Labour nationally were in the sh*t given their role in the recession, but given the expenses revelations you'd have thought the last thing people would have done would have switched from Labour to Conservative. I mean, duck houses, moats, claiming second home allowances on your spouses home? The one 'major' party I thought came out of the scandal relatively unscathed was the Lib Dems, so I foolishly assumed they would make considerable, perhaps even huge gains, but oh no. Still, in the end, I suppose we get what we deserve.
But in the only declared one so far the Lib Dem vote was almost unchanged and the tories only slightly up Nearly all that switched from Labour have gone to one of the other paries - UKIP , BNP and English Democrat getting the lions share
as seriously as UKIP I'm afraid confusing the vote with minor parties will always result in success for extremists.
RE: as seriously as UKIP the point is it spreads the vote so minority/extreme groups can be successful with a small proportion of the vote
RE: as seriously as UKIP well then Libdems may well be more of a minority party than UKIP. so don't go voting Liberal you're letting the fascists in!
RE: tha cant educate pork And Labours handling of the economy and the debacle of the 10p in the pound u-turn means that Labour really are the party of the working classes. Some people are still living in the 1970's. Some of the Labour MP's are as working class as little Lord Fauntleroy but because they stick a red rosette on they're ok? I don’t think so.
