he will be behind Sousa, Foster, Nyatanga and Hassel. Sorry 100% commitment, but I don't think he's good enough and it really pains me to say that.
Reid does show some real commitment when he plays but on todays performance so do the rest of them. They have more ability than Reid so for me it is a no brainer.
Reidy's......... programme notes set a few people straight on his opinions. I think he will get another chance in the first team not long after he gets back. He's a fight on though because Foster had a good debut.
RE: What did he say? I don't buy a programme. nt 1. Didn't think he should have been sent off. Didn't intentionally elbow the player, apologised to team mates about it at the end and they told him not to bother because it wasn't his fault. 2. Disapointed to be booed before the Darlington game, gives his all for the club etc. 3. Going to be working extra hard now he won't be playing a first team match for at least five weeks. Going to be doing lots of fitness work so he doesn't fall behind.
Thanks for that There is no doubting his commitment, and his attitude towards the club is commendable but the simple fact is he is not as good as the other CB's at the club. Including Hassell I would put him in 5th. It really is a shame because as I say he does seem to really want to do well for us. Really hope he proves me wrong and gets back in the team on merit and has a storming season. Doubt it though.</p>
