on speedtest.net. Just recorded a download speed of 320kb/s, but an upload speed of 368kb/s. I thought downloads were supposed to be superior to uploads? Could my router be slowing things down?

Oooh, just tried speakeasy.net now. A much better set of results - more like i expected this time. 3117kb/s download, and 337kb/s upload.

Wonder why the sites are so different though? The speedtest one used a London server. the speakeasy one was in America.

    Depends

You need to know what connection speed you are paying for - in your case if you are on 1Meg then that would be ok....however if you are on 8Meg then it's *****!
