    Here I am sat in my hotel room in Narita, Japan, it's 5.15pm which means the match should have been over almost half an hour ago so why hasn't anyone posted the result?</p>

    It was a bizarre one

    Hit two posts and the crossbar then their goalie punched it out, only to hit his own defender on the back of the head. Then the ball went in the net off two posts and the crossbar. The referee wasn't going to give it (said the ball hadn't crossed the line) but as luck would have it, a lad who was sitting in the east stand was enjoying his birthday and caught the action on his new digital camera. He then ran on to the pitch and showed his evidence to the referee, who had no choice but to reverse his decision.
