I dont wish injury on any player..

But a part of me wants Dawson and JOB to be deemed unfit to play at the weekend. Dawson is Flickers first name on the team sheet at the minute and his performances so far don't warrant that at all.

It seems to me like a lot of what Flicker does is to accommodate Dawson and it hinders the team. We dont need 3 defensive midfielders in our starting 11.

Three of our best home results last season were Watford, Brighton and Hull. In those games we had Perkins, Etuhu and Mellis in the team and it worked superbly. Dawson didn't feature in either.

 

I'm afraid to say that I'm hoping for the same because no doubt he'll start if fit.

 

I thought defensive midfielders had to be able to tackle.

We should be looking to ship Dawson back to Leyton Orient first chance we get.

 

Arguably our best form last season came after Dawson was Injured in the draw at Ipswich. Nothing against the lad but this division is a little bit beyond him. Would be better in League 1.
Perks + Dawson + Etuhu = A distinct lack of creativity,something we are in desperate need of.

 

Bit harsh but I agree that we can't play with all 3 of them in the team. It should be one of Dawson or Perkins with Etuhu, and a creative player in front of them.

 

Orient have come on leaps and bounds since they got rid of him!

 

To be fair to Dawson if he was playing at his natural level he'd probably be described as a 'box to box' midfield.

Just as O'brien would be a 'tricky winger' if he played at his correct level as demonstrated vs S****horpe.

Unfortunately they're both playing at a level too high and as a result contribute nothing but running around like headless chickens and passing the ball sideways.

 

Yep. That's the unfortunate reality.

 

I think the more people talk about dropping dawson the more flitcroft will play him to prove a point. Bobby-stylee in reverse

 

I think it's a shame for two honest hard working professionals to be so out of their depth as I do with with Dagnall. I wish they werecpkayingcat the level where they could excel
