where we'd be right now if the fans and media hadn't 'bullied' and 'upset' keith and forced him to change his keeper.

How bad things will be when we lose Steele and Davies and January and we suffer our traditional post January collapse. Oh hang on a minute...

I can't wait to join 7,000 other season ticket holders and 24 paying idiots to watch the following pathetic line up go down 7-0 against Wolves on a cold night in February

    Alnwick

    Cranie, Wiseman, McNulty, Golbourne

    Dagnall, Mellis, Done, Etuhu

    Harewood, Mido

I don't think he'll play again for us.

    Waste of time

I reckon he'll get 'fit' enough to make another couple of poor attempts.

We've not won a game with Steele in goal

    We've played 7, lost 5 and drawn 2.

I rate Luke Steele highly but his inclusion in the team has brought us no success whatsoever. We actually did much better with Alnwick in goal.

Re: We've not won a game with Steele in goal

Steele and Foster played great yesterday, which tells us everything we need to know about the rest of the defence. I think a few lost points can be directly attributed to Alnwick, Ipswich for example and the head-butt led to a shaky loanee in the goal early on. All goalies make mistakes, but if anything Luke has kept the scores down since his return.

I wouldn't argue with you for a second that Luke Steele is a great keeper and has kept the scores down in some matches. But the fact remains that even if I was in goal for the last 7 matches the worst case scenario is we'd be two points worse off.

Which would put us in the relegation zone, wouldn't it? I guess that could make a massive psychological difference.
