    At least one of the posters makes sense

    I don't get this 'badly advised' bit. I would understand if it was the Jan transfer window, we were top of Div 1 and Barnsley bottom of the Champs. But it's the start of the season and he gets the chance to compete at the second highest level. Plus, he knows the club and presumably enjoyed himself there. LUFC might mean a lot to us, doesn't mean it does to anyone else.
