A struggle was allways on the cards... ..but remember we are still outside the bottom 3 and there is more than 1/5th of the season to go.
It was never going to be easy.... And one of the most disappointing aspects of this season has been the 'home' turnouts in my opinion, especially after 20,000 or so people found themselves in Cardiff for the Play off Final.
The most disappointing aspect of this season has been the home turnouts of the PLAYERS, against the Fowls, Col U and Naaarich.
RE: A struggle was allways on the cards... The problem is at this stage of the season when you lose a couple and all the others seem to pick up points in their corresponding games, it's hard to look forward to the remaining 8 games and see them suddenly swinging back in our favour.............................but 2 games ago surely the likes of Hull and Southend were thinking exactly the same? What worries me is not the lack of effort - but the lack quality in key areas i.e. namely the full backs - and the conundrum where to play Howard i.e. I know his best position is centre mid but then you weaken the left and there is no one that can do as well as Howard on the left. Luton lost tonight - Leeds didn’t win - QPR threw away 2 points in the final minutes............Burnley seem to be getting dragged in .............we are not in the bottom 3 - we have a game in hand tomorrow on a few other teams......Leeds play Southend on Saturday. forgive me if these latter points go against the negative grain of some of tonight’s threads.

'And one of the most disappointing aspects of this season has been the 'home' turnouts in my opinion, especially after 20,000 or so people found themselves in Cardiff for the Play off Final.' Wuzbrer 41 - cant believe you said that. I agree we may have expected 2 -30,00 more at home games but wait a minute, we have lost the majority of our games this season, some of the performances have been very poor..................however, the loyal 9-10,000 have stuck with the club so I think this is really a double edged sword. The choice is yours of course but surely we all know that about a 1/3 of those at Cardiff we there 'for the day out'.. If BFC were top of the Championship there would still be a fair old % of the Cardiff 'daytrippers' who wouldn't be at Oakwell. EVERY club has thes type of fans eg Leeds - averaging 20,000 - took 30,000 to Cardiff v Watford and allegedly could have sold at least twice that many tickets.
and so they should have 120,000 enquiries. As a catchment area for fans they have 10 x more people to go at support wise. However, when it comes to fickleness then in my opinion Leeds are much worse than BFC. Troubles? They dont know the meaning of the word.
