This season - QPR at home - attendance was 9,019?

2002/2003 season - home against Notts County - attendance was 9,086?

    ^WTF Is going on?

We are doing OK in the league, have a fab home record and are doing brilliant in the cup - yet attendances are still very poor.

    Jesus.

and one was a saturday game with a local club from an area the barnsley assosiate as a scum area the other was a cold tuesday night againt a team from london. It also equates that given there are games against SWFC four days later plus the chelsea game and the UTD denotes that people are prioritising given the limited cash flow that people unlike yourself suffer from.

We've come a long way since those dark days...

From club in financial turmoil to a club with a good financial backing and a good team of players. Yet the attendances still suffer.

I guarantee that 40-50% (If not more) of the Sheffield Wednesday fans on Saturday are from Barnsley/Rotherham and not actually from Sheffield.

Money. People just do not have it to attend all 5? games in march at home if they do not hold a season ticket.

Went to Donny other day. In the Frenchgate centre on the TVs they have hanging from the ceilings, were advertisements for Donny vs Swansea.

Do we have 'owt like that in Barnsley?
