I for one hope the atmosphere at Wembley isn't like the Ipswich Playoff Final

I classed it as a Disney type atmosphere, family friendly with no bite. The prawn sandwich flag waving brigade definetaly watered it down. I hope this one feels more like a big local derby, plenty of passion. We can be sure the Cardiff fans will create an intimidating atmosphere, for them its not just us versus them it's their national pride at stake too.

Come on people, lets make it more like a cauldron of passion and not a Strictly Come Dancing/Disney on Ice. It's what makes British matches stand out for the rest of the world.

    Talk about jumping to conclusions

The atmosphere should be electric, and not like The Last Night of the Proms.

Where did i say i wanting Hooligans?

I used to go to the away matches as a kid and i loved it when the atmospheres were mad. You can have incredible atmospheres without fighting or can't you tell the difference?

So if you were organising it. You'd have announced one ticket per season ticket holder and stop there? No one else is welcome unless they can recreate the 'welcome to hell' atmosphere they celebrate in Galatasaray?

Good work, keep those crowds dwindling.

i think we should invite every primary school kid within a 30 mile radius...

for free and sit them behind the goals. then they can count down to the HT/FT whistles and make the atmosphere very hostile

I'm struggling to work out who you want to intimidate?

I didn't make anything up, you're talking about creating an intimidating atmosphere in a crowd that will be split down the middle, who's going to be intimidated unless it's the fans? National pride at stake? Are all our players English and theirs Welsh then? Last time I looked, I thought Davey was welsh? Do you think he'll stitch us up for pride maybe, or do you think he'll embrace anti-welsh songs? He'll want to beat Cardiff, firstly as a manager with the chance to go to final and secondly, to get one over Cardiff as he's a Swansea fan. He'll probably have no interested in the Ridsdale history either.

Players won't be intimidated by the crowd, that's for sure, they'll be nothing more then nervous, excited and up for the biggest games of their lives.

Its good to see kids at games

But they tend to bring those fckin horrible plastic horn things and make a right honking racket. England games sound like that as well. Should be banned.

    Agreed - it's not a "day out"

    It's a cup semi final.

All I've ever seen on here were great memories of the day, excluding the result obviously.

I think people should blood their faces for this one though, just in case.
