and the abuse JCR got was horrific. they really took a dislike to him. I was proud of the team though. Although I do think nardiello or Mossto would have taken that chance.

If we win tonight I think we will be safe, although i'd love a point.

Davey has a habbit of pulling a performance out of the bag when we least expect it. Southend away last year?

If I wasnt working late i'd be going tonight. Lets get behind the boys...we can do it.

If we survive then I'm optomistic about next season. Muller and Anderson to come back, sign two new strikers and we'll have a decent side.

they were in the corperate area that runs right around the stadium, unfortunately i was in the wrong end.
it was slightly mixed, but still outnumbered.
    they think we are crap.

Well, with us unable to score against such a poor side as Cardiff, is it any wonder. That corporate area ruined the atmosphere for me.

"sign two new strikers and we'll have a decent side"

How many did we sign at the start of this season and it didn't work!

A win will help tonight, but we aren't safe - it's dangerous to think that way....I thought we were safe around Christmas time!

Do you mean JCR got racial abuse? If so I will argue that he didnt as we do not have kind of racial element at Cardiff. I was sat 10 seats from the Barnsley fans opp the players tunnel so obviously not able to hear everything but heard all of our songs.

I didnt believe the Bobby Moore/Pissing thing and if you do come back and surprise me with JCR/Racial then I won't believe that either.

Maybe you will reply and tell me its was just booing aggressive unsettling abuse, maybe called a diver I'm not sure what or why, but it was probably as we saw him as your dangerman. Same as Ronaldo gets week in week out.

You have had your five minutes.

How long do you intend to stay around?

Why Leeds Tyke? Have I caused you or any others any offence? The board is well policed and if I cross the line I fully expect to be banned. There should be no reason for you to take offence to anything I say, Ive been called a lovely person since Monday morning here whilst offering no offence in return. I WAS NOT one of the few that misbehaved towards any Barnsley fan on Sunday and personally have nothing to apolagise for. I am sorry it happened though but can't apolagise for the cretins that did what they did. I have been accused of patronising you while I don't feel I have done.

I wish you nothing but the very best in staying up this season and until told by an admin will return here to wish you that luck. The best bet is not to click on a post that I have written, just ignore me, I probably though won't go away. Thankfully I know not everyone here offers the same welcome, as we don't as Cardiff fans.

Sorry for any de-railment in this thread but Tyke, you should of pm'd me that question.

Your heart seems in the right place mate...

...but all the 'can't believe' this and 'can't believe' that is wearing a bit thin now.

Either you were walking around with your eyes shut or this sort of behaviour is so second nature at Cardiff that you consider it to be normal.

Personally I think your 'best' comment was considering that someone is 'not quite scum' if they spit on the floor near an 8 year old who has shouted for Barnsley rather than on him!

RE: Your heart seems in the right place mate...

This is what I have said even though I admit I haven't once used the preview button.

Scum - Someone who spits at or on (part of that is new) towards anyone of any age. Agree?
Scum - Someone who gets off the train and gets in the face of anyone regardless of age just for shouting "Barrrnsley" in this case an 8 year old boy, thats disgusting.
Scum - Any person made to feel intimidated for supporting a differen't team? Agree (that might be new aswell)

I didnt see either of the first two but believe both happened.

Pissing on a statue, in this case Bobby Moore - Scum.
Racial abusing JCR (yet to be confirmed) - Scum

I don't believe either happened. What I do know is Cardiff fans climbed on the statue and had their pics taken holding flags. Not SCUM (happens every New Years Eve in London) but at the same time not right.

I have replied to your thread from the other day Ponty and pm'd you to tell you so btw.

But please either stop misunderstanding me or accusing me of things which I dont mean. Other board members here have had to say before I have "He is not trying to defend them" for eg, so maybe I am being misunderstood.

I didn'tget the quote quite right, but are youtrying tosay thatyou didn't say this:</p>

The post above notes how a man with his 8 year old who rightly so shouts &quot;Barrrnzleeee&quot; (good on ya young man and so you should) has to put up with a grown man who somehow feels intimidated enough to approach him aggressively shout some English stuff and spit on the floor, if he had spat in his face I would call him SCUM, he is a tiney winey little bit under SCUM because he approached him in the first place, scared him rather than doing what he should do as a grown man and shout &quot;Blooobirds Blooobirds&quot; with maybe the worst being poking his tongue out at him in a joking way. He probably has kids himself and that old saying &quot;Out of sight, out of mind&quot; springs to mine.

RE: Your heart seems in the right place mate...

That must be right but please refer to my previous post. I haven't said so above but wether he spat in his face or on the floor to me thats the actions of SCUM, he's already approached him in an aggressive manner hasn't he? Thats a step to far as it without feeling the need to spit.

What he should of done is shouted "Bloooobirds" at worse poked his tongue out making sure it was in a joking way.

See what I mean about the situation and defining of SCUM now? I wasn't trying to say that he's only SCUM if the spit hits the boy. My heart and head are both in the right place honestly being a parent of a footballing youngster myself I really took offence to this story. I would of if not a parent etc anyway.

You are seriously trying to tell us

That racial abuse doesn't happen in Cardiff, and it's completely impossible to believe it could</p>

Wow, Utopia exists. Oppressed minorities of the world, get yourself to Cardiff.</p>

I don't think you realise just how stupid that makes you sound.</p>

RE: You are seriously trying to tell us

Racial abuse happens everywhere I'm afraid.

Racial abuse happens at Cardiif to the extent "Welsh ****** - Englands Full of ****" gets sung, in my eyes not real racist abuse otherwise we would be shut down and every away fan banned for singing it.

I know as I attend every game at home that we do not have fans who will boo, geer or make any reference about a players skin colour. Now this is still to be confirmed in the post about JCR and may not be the case at all, I would be gobsmacked if it is and even more gobsmacked if true.

I don't think I have sounded stupid but thats an opinion of yours and maybe others and it's fine to have.

    Do you think it's possible

That some of the 30,000+ fans you took aren't part of your regular weekly attendance?</p>

Every club has pockets of fans that misbehave. If Hasselbank or Sinclair had turned up on Sunday, I suspect that (sadly) a section of our crowd would have racially abused them, but they were decidely average so it didn't happen. Unfortunately its a predicatble as night following day, so you assertion that it probably didn't happen to JCR who looked our only real and consistent threat is ... frankly laughable.</p>

RE: Do you think it's possible

Yes that has been exactly my point. These people won't be at Ipswich tonight or home vs Blackpool on Saturday neither will they be at Wembley for the final as they are not regular fans, they certanly don't possess a season ticket and the might , maybe might of been there to shout **** at Bristol City in early March

After our tickets went to season ticket holders and then ambassordors they went on general sale and is probably where they came from.

The above is regards to racial abuse or abuse of a young lad or Barnsley family. I still don't think racial abuse happened but stand to be corrected and hope to god Im not.

We average 13k a week, 20k extra came along for a day out and some of those have left a bitter taste in your mouths which I am sorry about but unable to do anything about.

<font size="2">In answer to 'See what I mean about the situation and defining of SCUM now?'</font></p>

<font size="2">No, not really. I thinktrying to define who is 'scum' and who isn't is splitting hairs. Anyone who directs abuse at women and kids, irrespective of whetherit isgesturing, swearing, spitting orviolence is 'scum' in my opinion.</font></p>

<font size="2">Yousuggested in the same thread (This Cardiff fans thing - my two penn'orth FWIW) that flicking 'V's and 'W's at women and kids is harmless.</font></p>
