I had this conversation with a couple of Leeds fans at work........

    One of them said they were worried that Beckford would be leaving them at the end of the season to join a bigger Club.</p>

    I said &quot;yes, Barnsley are interested in signing him&quot;. </p>

    Well, it made me laugh anyway, but they didn't appretiate it.

    If Leeds dont come up via playoffs

    And Barnsley stay up then the move would be seen as a step up in class for Beckford.

    If Leeds stay in that division for a third year then there is no way on earth they could argue that they are a bigger club than us. Bigger ground, bigger attendances (dwindling) and historic achievements yes - bigger in the current environment not a chance.
