Thing is I only posted last week how many times leeds are mentioned to actually how many times they get who we want/have. It's actually now happened. And I think all we will hear from now until the season starts is leeds this leeds that. And inevitable link with every single target we have. I wish the place would implode.
I'm not sure anyone thinks we are bigger than Leeds.... It just seems a strange move from Ben to go to Leeds at the current time with what's going on there.
Its indisputable that they are bigger than us but god knows why anybody would want to work for them under their current regime.
We're not a bigger club, we're nowhere near in terms of potential but at the minute we are a more stable club and in terms of owners I think we're a much better club. I liked Ben but I think he has made a big mistake going there and not just because I f***ing hate them.
I love the city of Leeds and I've earned my living there for many a year, on and off. However I ****ing hate the football club and as it's also run by a mentalist I can't understand Mansford's decision (other than earning **** loads more brass obviously). Despite that, Leeds are a 'bigger' club than us (whatever the **** that really means), however I object to us being referred to us "little old Barnsley" too. We aren't a small a club in the overall scheme of things and should be proud of our standing in the English game.
Much like Brownhill going to Bristol, I wish him and Mansford absolutely no ill-will whatsoever - thanks for the memories and all that - but I hope with the strongest of passions, that their new clubs absolutely fall apart & tank disastrously. Relegation for Bristol and another administration for Leeds would be a good start.
