Great result for the lads last night, fantastic 1st half performance and a solid, resolute second half performance to seal the win. However - thanks to far too many beers, most notably Greene King IPA, and me getting up at 5am for work this morning, my head...and belly, are from happy. The night's proceedings went a little awry too. Livingstones: This is where the night started to get better...then worse in the space of 46 minutes! I started talking to a random straggler by the bar, in my drunken haze - i vaguely remember the following: Me: Hey how are you, can i get your opinion on something? Girl: Sure Me: I've just bought 2 bulldogs..BUT i cant figure out what to call them, i need some good duo-type names..any ideas? Girl: Why did you ask me? (ouch, not looking good) Me: Because you were stood by the bar all alone (pacing her reality), so i thought id come over and say hi! Girl: Oh ok! Well what about Bubble and Squeak? Me: Hmm, these are bulldogs..NOT hamsters! Girl: haha - sorry - what about rocky and balboa? Me: Hmmm not bad, i like Dre and Snoop! Girl: Yeah thats good! So what do u do for a living? (I ain't saying she a goldigga...) Me: (hmm) Oh i'm a professional Hula-Hooper! it dosnt pay well but it puts food on the tables Girl: Are you serious. Me: As an heart-attack! Girl: Haha your funny (she likes me, i still don't know why I'm chatting with her though) Me: Yeah i am, so whats your story? Fluff for a while, an ESP test (numbers) and then I isolated her - to one of those couches upstairs. After bigging myself up for 10 minutes, i looked at her lips momentarily, looked at her eyes, then back at her lips, and just went in for the kiss - it worked. Awesome! I left Livingstones...surprisingly feeling better, the cool jets of air filled my lungs and my head felt fresher than it had 15 sordid minutes ago, i walked down the street, i looked at my watch - 1:15am. ****! I was up for work 4 hours, i headed to Kebab Express (ugh) for a kebab, i was surprisingly hungry after seeing my tea splayed all over the floor. Then got in a taxi. So, yeah..fun night. (puke)
I Don't Feel Too Good Either Got home at 4 in the morning, but luckily i'm not a big sleeper. Damn idiots tried to keep me out longer when the best club in the region called Tokyo shut around 3 ish. I had a stalker, saw most of the night a quality Amy Whinehouse lookalike and drank too much. Sambuca, girlie drinks, lager and owt else. But well done England anyway for a cracking performance and especially Rio for his awesome goal (england) (england) (england)
