i have decided that if davey is in charge next season

i am not renewing me and my daughters season ticket.

Had 2 days to refelct on it and simply not happy with things at minute. had the ticket now for near on 19 years but i have had enough of putting up with it.

 

Its a common opinion. Me and my son have decided that we're not coming if Davey is in charge. Likewise there are 5 or 6 sat around us, all season ticket holders for years, who have decided that enough is enough and wont be renewing if Davey is still in charge.

 

You wont be the only one mate, cant imagine many of our new £5 friends coming back soon either. His negativity is killing this club

 

you say this now, but i bet when the time comes the anticipation of the new season will see you buying your tickets whoever is in charge.

 

Once again, my son (8) asked at the weekend 'Do we have to support Barnsley?'

Told him, he can support who he wants, but don't expect to see any matches.

...will probably pick and choose 7 or 8 games to go to at Oakwell. Definitely no away games next season, the supporters are fantastic but the tactics aren't.

 

Well mate i have been a season ticket holder for 16 years, and it is frustrating at the moment. Davey is trying is best but the results have been one step forward and three steps back. If we could just bring in a decent striker and a pacey defender then who knows. After tomorrow night your thoughs will have changed when we beat the Blunts, keep positive.

So you've gone through the years with Spackman, Hart and Parkin in charge but you're not renewing because of Davey, I think those times were worse than what we have now.

We support Barnsley Football Club, Barnsley as a town, I don't give a shiit about who manages us. I will always support my team through thick n thin no matter what league we are in!!!

What made you buy a season ticket for the years we were in division three? Just wondering because you make it sound like this season is the worst in the 19 years you have been a season ticket holder.

i can understand that and i hope you don't think that that comment was aimed at people who don't go because of money.

it just makes me wonder what goes through the heads of people who say there not going because of davey. Fans need to start worrying about getting behind the team, because as much as i hope it doesn't happen i think we could one day be looking back saying that we wish we were in this position again.

supporter is described by the word itself, someone who supports, stop getting upset about davey (some on here appear to have an unhealthy obsession with the man) and get behind the team
