Been thinking about it for a while (well since the quarter final draw). Can't afford to miss out on tickets for big games, so I have decided to stop work altogether and sit around at home waiting for a big game to crop up so I can be first in the queue. And the funny thing is, you all think I'm joking. This Friday is my last day.
Seriously I'm surprised that nobody has thought of that before as a way of making a few bob. When we get to the semis I'll just put my tent up outside the office, snuggle down inside my 4 seasons sleeping bag with my little tranny and a flask, and wait for the box office to open next morning. What better way could there be to guarantee a ticket in 2008? All these idiots talking about the internet, telephone hotlines, email, patron codes etc etc we don't need any of that new-fangled techy stuff it will only break down. What's wrong with a good night's kip in a tent in the car park? It's the way forward I'm telling yer.
I reckon it could be self financing Could sell my house and buy a better tent, then make my living by selling tea and coffee to people in the queue. I will be operating a "drop, shop, pop" scheme for those unwilling to queue. Drop off your season ticket at my tent, shop for a few hours, then pop back and pick up your big match tickets. Can't fail must get to work on writing a business plan. Who ya gonna call? Queue Busters!
