I have just sent my first PM using this site.....but...

    How do I know if it has sent? There is a sent items folder, and an outbox. Now surely if it has sent it would be in Sent Items, but no, its still in Outbox. Is this usual for this site?

    It will remain in the "Outbox" folder

    Until the recipient has read it, then it goes into "Sent Items"

    It is in your outbox till the recipient reads it, then it moves to Sent Items.

    Check - it is now in Sent Items.

    it will stay in your outbox until

    it is opened by the person you sent it to and then it will go to your sent box
