LOOK GET IT IN YOUR HEADS RITCHIE HAS GONE

WE WON FFS

We kept a clean sheet, played 4-4-2 and had a midfield and we actually looked like we could defend.

All those who say it was crap and they prefer to lose are talking crap, all those who say that the new lads did not improve the team are talking crap. Today we looked comfortable in defence, something you could never say under ritchie.

Today we played for 95 minutes, something we could not do this season under ritchie

Wakey wakey folks, if you did not go don't critisise, I for one suspect that the vast majority of the 9000+ reds fans went away happy that we had won and kept a clean sheet.

I am happy we have three points and kept a clean sheet that will do for starters.. The show boating can come later.

As to Howard and Devaney, if they cannot take some discipline tough, time they learn't hopefully the drinking cushy numbers are over at Oakwell and the players become professional again

Well I went

and most people I heard said the same

That it was the worst they'd seen us play this season. However, we have played some brilliant football and lost this season so we were due that. Not complaining given our position in the league that we got a win when we didn't play well because when you are down there, the most important thing is the 3 points.

You mean Entertainment wise, though?

The team played well in terms of discipline and carrying out the instructions of the manager (who clearly played for a draw - but hoped to nick a win).

I guess I'm in the minority on this one.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't watch that every week, but there was plenty to admire.

We only looked 'comfortable' in defence because they were proper *****. Fair point - today you could say the system, line-up luckily worked cos we got the three points. But we only just got them - we had our first shot on 55mins (I think?). We can say that the midfield looks better and the defence are tighter, but when we meet teams who can play we will get slaughtered playing that way. If you have 2 non-attacking midfielders in the middle of the park then you need a bit of spark down the flanks - that wasn't there today until Reid came on. We need to get a centre-half in who can organise the lads at the back, and have some invention in the middle of the park. If Davey dropped Howard for mouthing off in the press about Ritchie getting sacked too early then he's a nob.

Didn't we score from a cross?

If we can find a couple more sh*te teams, we will be OK.

I went. Wish I hadn't bothered. You're obviopusly a proper fan and that, but me? I'd rather enjoy myself.

I've got better things to do than spend £20+ to watch paint dry.

You know what! Although we need all the cash we can get, you wouldn't be missed.

this board cracks me up,the folk who are now telling you to stop moaning over the "ugly" win we got under davey yesterday are probably the same people who were moaning like f**k this time last year when we where winning "ugly" under ritchie.

How do you know? I might have some great insights to pass on to the players.

Ritchie Bummers Ask Yourself.......

1. How far back under Ritchie did we look like winning ?
2. How far back under Ritchie did we look like keeping a clean sheet ?
3. Did the players brought in make the team better ?
4. Wouldn't you rather play like that and win, then how we lost under Ritchie every week ?

First match in charge and already we have a win and a clean sheet. Makes you wonder why Ritchie was around so long.

1. Leeds. I think we won that one. Not too long ago either.
2. We didn't.
3. Hard to tell, it was too f**king dire.
4. I think you set the questions for University Challenge.
