I know many have discussed it on here already, but I just think we are missing a trick at the moment.

Leads by example, really fights for the cause, is our best player and seems to love the club.

I always think your best player should be your captain so long as it's a defender or central midfielder.

Reidy gives 100%, is a nice bloke and wears his heart on his sleeve but in his own words he was 'crap' against Coventry which says it all really...........

I think Howard would be a good captain. Reid for me and it's been said a thousand times is not up to Championship quality. Either howard or Kosluk mignt give us the drive that we lack at the moment.

Agree mate, He will be next game anyway, maybe he will keep it.

It could be a good thing forReid,it could enable him toconcentrate on his own game.

Although it's a honour to wear the arm band, sometimeshaving the responsibilityof captaincan be a distraction for developing your own game.

I still think Reid can cut it at this level, he just needs to step it up a little.

    Agreed

Think Reidy's days in first XI could be numbered, esp with his 3 match ban.

You only have to look at Howard's reaction to Sheringham's goal yesterday to see why ...

he should be made captain. He went totally ballistic with Nyatanga and Sousa, while Reidy just wandered off without saying a word. 'Nuff said.

    Totally agree

Reid was not interested , it was Howard that was rollocking the defence for not getting tighter.

    NO HE DOESN`T

    But his mates did.
Just because I posted that it does not mean that I dont like him as a player, its just his drunken behaviour that I have a problem with.
But if its ok for professional footballers to behave like Chavs, then I think that the world we live in fecked up> :(( :((
