    We seem to appoint managers who don't seem to be able or willing to adapt their ways, seems they are determined to go down a dead end road. Robins was the best for a few years, I agree with that.

    2 managers who adapted the side to get the best out of what they had. Didnt have this ego of having to play in their philosophy even at the expense of the side.

    As did the previous successful manager, Dave Bassett, who abandoned his long ball game in favour of a more passing style that suited the 1999-2000 squad.
