How on earth he wasn’t booked as a minimum today was a joke, it was the same at there ground too.

I really think the referee’s are scared to get into conflict with him, every incident and he’s always there, the bloke is a total *****

Definitely for the off the ball incident with o keffe that the ref missed. I thought the ref missed a few off the all incidents on pines too 2nd half after there man went into the hoardings.

The referee saw the punch and the linesman was 5 yard away the blind ******* and neither did anything……I’m certain there worried about engaging with him for all the political ****** he seems to whip up!!

I’ll give our players credit though cos they didn’t engage with him at all when other players would’ve happily 2 footed him

I think he loves it all tbh, like when England played Spain in the summer and he put a picture on in a Spain shirt on socials. If wrexham would Ave equalised he would have been more interested in winding the fans up.

How Wrexham didn’t have one booking amazes me also to be honest. 2 late challenges let off with - started booking our players for fun. Best one was Killips when he didn’t even have the ball cos it was being thrown back by the ball boy.

Yep and good news is he’s now 35 year old so we might not see him down our way much more

He's been booked 8 times this season so I don't think refs are scared to book him.

I genuinely don't agree with this. I thought he could have been booked today, but I also thought Connell could have been sent off, twice. How Connell got away with picking someone up and twirling them around like a toy, I don't know. McClean is a pantomime villain, and he gives opposition fans something to unite against. Which makes football fun. He's also a pretty good player at this level and stands up for himself. We've got a few of those too.

He has an opinion on something that is outside the consensus. I Know exactly how he feels. Not on the same issue, but crack on son.

I find it a bit of a stretch to say McClean punched O’Keeffe. O’Keeffe had took one in the nuts & couldn’t move so grabbed hold of McClean & wouldn’t let go of his shirt so McClean responded by trying to hit O’Keeffe’s hand so he would let go.

I suppose McClean could have been booked but at the same time O’Keeffe should have been booked for a blatant shirt pull off the ball.

He's a nob who should have been booked a couple of times, also incites the crowd and knows how to play the villan. Thought the ref lost the plot with the time wasting bookings but had done well up to then as both sides could have picked up a card or two. overall a good game and a excellent result..

He does incite the crowd like away at Wrexham but it works both ways. Don't give him the attention in the 1st place. Like when people crying when winnall celebrated after he had abuse hurled at him for 90 minutes. Don't give him the attention he wants.

I wonder if refs are scared to book him as they then start to worry that will have to send him off then. As someone mentioned he’s a great pantomime villain just imagine he’s putting on that same show every single week at whatever ground he’s playing in.

When he retires he'll probably go back to ireland write a book about all the abuse and his time in England and make a few more quid. Don't rise to the clown.
