because if Steele plays today and his loan has run out at midday (which WBA say it does) we could be in for a hefty fine and a possible points deduction

the Football League would certainly take some action if.............

we play a player who is ineligible-if we won Palace would no doubt object-they don't usually order a rematch but deduct points

What you are saying Is that the Club have not read the smallprint??

Do you SERIOUSLY think that the clubs lawyers are that stupid and naive not to asses the Luke Steele situatiuon, no wonder we have a poor fan base if everyone is as cynical as some are on here .......

    I'm simply going on..............

the conflicting info-one says it runs out at noon today the other says after the Palace game-I just hope we are absolutely correct-I can see someone's eye being off the ball with all the Cup ticket shenanigans

In the same way as Shep went on national radio suggesting he just needed to talk to Brom's chairman?

Even though the cup's rules expressly prohibited players from playing against their own club?

Clubs make mistakes re: registration all the time as the rules can be very complicated. Look at the loanees situation with Leeds last year, or Scotland naming Howard despite him being ineligible. I don't think anybody's having a dig at the club, some folk are just concerned that problems might arise, that's all.
