That when we go to Cardiff on the last day of the season they need to win to get a play off spot, and well quite frankly they dont!!!!!!! Think it would help the healing process from wembley a great deal........
I think you're wrong. The simple fact is that we're hurt by what happened at Wembley, not because of Cardiff - who are frankly a meaningless side to us - but because we know pure and simple that we should have won that game. It doesn't matter if Cardiff never win another game and go bankrupt, it won't change what happened on that day. I want to beat Cardiff because I know that they are beatable and there is three points in it. As a BFC fan I want us to finish, not just safe, but with as many points as possible. That's all Cardiff means to me - nothing more or less. The idiot section of their supporters have failed to leave enough of an impression upon me to make me care one way or another about their club.
Yes I hear what your say, yes Im probably just being petty. I still want those 3pts though..... We owe them, not for Wembley but for the last 3 times we played them, the 2-1 at the start of last season (just remembered Brian's goal, Im smiling now), the shocking 2-0 the last time we were at Ninnian Park (Kay's performance that day, Im not smiling anymore). Even this seasons 1-1 at Oakwell thats a game we should have won. If anything just for once I want to see Mcphail walk off the pitch after playing us without his smug little grin all over his face
If he does have that smug grin, rest assured there'll be a pic of it on our clubs website.
Not so many if we win an away game like, but there you go.
