If I had to bring someone to assist me for a short term basis in a job I had no hope of getting I would definitely bring in some ****ty lass in her early twenties with lovely jugs rather than a middle aged craggy faced midfield dynamo. For that reason alone he shouldn't get the job.

This reminds me of when Simon Davey was made caretaker and he was allowed to bring in Ryan Kidd to assist him. I knew then that it was highly likely that Davey would be given the job. So I now think the same regarding Flitcroft.

It would seem we are going to do down the short term appointment route with a view to the takeover happening at some point. Either way we will be looking for a new manager again at the end of the season unless Flitcroft pulls off the unlikely great escape.

Sacking Hill would appear to be a token gesture to try and show the fans that the current "board" are trying to do something to change our fortunes this season.

Yep, Keith Lemon would probably bring in Holly Willoughby...that might bring back the missing thousands!

    I wasn't actually being serious.

I'd bring in a Russian transexual really.

Appointing Micky Mellon as my number two would cheer me up no end

I'd call him by his first name at all times.

    "Good Morning Micky Mellon"

"Who should we play up front Micky Mellon"

"Pass us the salt Micky Mellon"

"Go buy me a melon Micky Mellon"

My 15 year old self thought it was immensely funny when he played for West Brom in 93-94 and one of his midfield partners was Stacey Caldicott. One named after a fruit and the other a girl.

I think if you are going for someone with the coaching badges but no experience of coaching in the championship you could do worse than offer this person a job

might also be able to put a program in place to reduce our injury list

There have been female Managing Directors of football clubs, female physios so why not female coaches

Might also help recruit players - lets face it who would you want to play for most Mickey Mellon or Laura Burnett
