Does anybody think that Luke Steele may have a re think on leaving (That's if he's decided that) after seeing the progress the club is making on and off the field since negotiations began? I'm sure we could come to some agreement and get him tied down for a couple of years now the club looks to be heading in the right direction.
it won't be harming. our progress also won't be harming our ability to attract other players. it feels like it's gaining momentum every day, at the moment. i'm still smarting over the steele thing, and i really do hope it all pans out in the end. i just don't think it will, somehow. fingers crossed. oh, and i really really really would love to see bobby stay on. but i don't think that's happening either.
Re: 5....4.......3.........2...........1 I hope so, but there's so much conflicting info flying around, I'm keeping me gob shut. Oakwell must still be shaking from the wrath of my last hissy fit.
Re: 5....4.......3.........2...........1 He certainly is, trouble is, we've all heard sixty squillion times
It's not the end of the world if either or both go but like you say it would be disappointing if they did. I just think sometimes a club and a player fit and steele has been brilliant from first to last. He played a blinder at anfield then had some time on the bench when muller got fit. He then made the number one jersey his own after muller moved on and though he has made the odd mistake (same as everybody) there's nobody I want to see in net at oakwell come August more than steeley. We've played our hand now and looked to push on and hopefully Luke will want to be a part of that and he and the club can sort something out.
It depends how good his agent is. If he cant find him a Premier league or 'top 6' Championship club with a big wage budget, then i would expect him to have to commit to us. if we are to keep him, someone will need to create a YouTube video of him, making him look really ****.
