I agree about patience. But its not "at the moment" though is it. It's been crap for over a decade. Lost for words today.
for the second week in a row, dominated a game, against a poorer team, lost the match in the final few minutes… patience may be hard to come by, and I'm not a happy clapper, but I'm willing to give a little more patience… BUT only if LJ changes something for the next match, clearly what he is doing at the minute is working, but we are just not finishing teams off, so something needs to change for us to be more clinical. the stats don't lie LJ!!
This is the first time I will say this. He has got to go. We need change to improve. That change doesn't necessarily have to be the manager, but LJ has proven (by insisting on continuing with a formation that doesn't work, and with stubbornly playing a goalkeeper who is inferior to the other option in pretty much every way), that he is completely unwilling or unable to make any change whatsoever. I await his post match interview, as I have no doubt whatsoever that it will once again be the 100% fault of the players with no mention of his own shortcomings whatsoever. Fecking coward. I'm not an advocate of sackings early in a season but I honestly believe that with someone with half a clue, our squad - and the improvements our budget will allow in January to it - would walk up the division. The league is absolute garbage, we have some good players, yet every week it's tepid, weak willed, half arsed ***** fodder.
It's all well and good claiming dominance but we only had two efforts on target in the second half at the arse end of the game.
i think thats the point i made.. the stats don't lie, we have huge amounts of possession and make forward forays, but are not being clinical in finishing teams off. goals win games, not possession!! come on LJ, humour us all, stick 2 up front, go on… i dare ya… see what happens… go on…ah go on go on go on….
