Remember Morgan? He used to charge onto the pitch at the start of each half. Fist in the air, proud of his shirt - would give his all, no matter what mistakes he made. Compare that with the team as they emerged onto the pitch at the start of the second half. An unbelievable half hearted and wraggle taggle display of body language, that spoke more of "Fat Blokes Sunday Football", rather than an early season thirst for victory after a poor and goalless first half against bottom of the table promotees. I'm afraid the fire doesn't appear to be there for some reason, and so early in the season, that's worrying.
I think that you make some good points there and it is becomming more apparent to some that there exists a lack luster approach from the players. This was noticable and apparent last week when they were turning out for training and all of their heads were down. a nunber of people picked up on this. Someone had mentioned that there had been some trouble in the camp(allegedly) before, during and after the Colchester game. that certain players had been unhappy about the team selection and as a result(allegedly) they were very pissed off and unhappy about the situation. Perhaps rumour perhaps not but, did you notice how ,on saturday, Ritchie continually leaned on the dugout side, arms crossed with little verbal input, instead leaveing it up to his sidekick to do the deed.It reminded me of the Phart days. :S
Do you remember when the team used to come out ,run to the half-way line and salute the crowd. Used to make me feel proud of our team back then.
Probly because they got fecking booed. Hows about people clap them off instead. Bit of encouragement.
Get 'em back in the old changing rooms. they were good enough for Redfearn and Co. , then certainly good enough for this Third Division shower.
