After one to go to tonight.

Need cheap and cheerful, hoping to go somewhere I've not been before.

    Anyone know any around Barnsley/Wake/Hudds.

Any with any offers on, early bird etc...

    Cheers

Yeah it is downstairs although the upstairs (untill very recently) was Thai which was also very very good ..... I believe the Thai has closed now which is a shame.

Had great meal Saturday at Indian next to ASDA Nr Wakefield..

.. a bit past Newmillerdam and turn left at lights. then right at roundabout into ASDA and right again. there is an Itlaian , Chinese and the Indian + a bar. Cannot recall name though. Large portions, and very good value + pleasant surroundings good service. 1st time there but seemed to have regular clientelle and plenty of regulars calling in for takeaways. Would definitely go back again.

Might be worth trying the one at Oakwell / Hoyle Mill. I think it's called Spice of India or summat. Apparently they got a 4 course deal Tuesday / Thursday / Sunday for £10. Deffo gonna try it one day soon - went ages ago and enjoyed it, but apparently it's even better now.

As DanT said though, I can vouch for Royal Spice @ Darton. Or failing that I think it's also curry night tonight at Eastfield Arms on Wakey Rd, about £5-£6 and u get a pint, naan bread, rice and a choice of about 8 curries that come on a sizzling platter. Gorgeous vindaloo from there.
