He could turn it around for us.. But it's just not going to happen is it? I can't bare it anymore, the rot has well and truly set in and I really can't put up a fight on LJs behalf anymore to keep his job. It's a shame really as he's a really likeable bloke but unfortunately for him the club must come first.
No personal animosity against him as he seems a decent fella but he couldn't manage the Pinfold at Cudeth
Going to sound a little hypocritical but Barnsley FC have got to part company with Lee Johnson. I'm on record as saying we have to be patient, give managers time but something's got to change. We are bloody shambles from top to bottom. The board have to be held to account. One of the reasons we've sacked so many managers in recent times is that we keep appointing bloody awful ones in the first place. Original post is spot on. LJ hasn't shown anything at Barnsley, or at Oldham if I'm honest, to tell me he can become a successful manager.
It's getting very difficult to defend him tbh as his selections and formations seem to be all over the place and half the team don't look motivated. The motivation in reality tho should come from their pay packets and the fans on the terraces if they can't do it for manager surely they can try for the fans makes my blood boil the way some of them have half heartedly challenged for the ball or tried to get in positions.
Seems a lovely bloke awful at his job but a lovely bloke. I reckon if me and my 3 year old picked the team at random we would have got as many points as Johnson.
